What is the situation?
Haiti was struck by a 7-point scale earthquake on Tuesday. 100.000 people are believed to be dead.
The country is the poorest nation in the western hemisphere, with no means of self-reconstruction.
It is our duty as human beings to help in some way. And so we will.
Who are we?
We are two friends that met a couple of years back in a communication festival. Edwin is a publicist living in Santo Domingo,
250km away from the earthquake epicenter. André is a brazilian art director that lives in Italy, and together we had
an idea to build overnight a very simple website for people to wire money to Edwin in Santo Domingo.
The idea is quite simple: whatever money gets sent will go straight to Edwin's account in the Dominican Republic,
he will then transform this money into goods that are most needed right now in Haiti: bottled water, blankets
and basic medical supplies. He'll save ALL the receipts to send it back to the donors, will take photos of the process
and will personally drop the donations to a delivery center in Santo Domingo. They will then drive
the donations to Haiti. It's that simple. Feel free to contact us at any time if in need of help or doubt.

The chosen delivery center
The truck delivery to Haiti is going to be made by a company named Tricom.
Another option for truck delivery is an NGO entity called Atrévete a Donar.
